Milan’s journey in woodworking began in 2002 when he enrolled in the Cabinet Making course at Chichester College for Art, Science, and Technology. Over the next two years, he honed his skills in traditional and contemporary woodworking techniques, excelling in his studies and earning recognition as the top-performing student of his year. His dedication and craftsmanship were acknowledged when he was awarded the prestigious student prize upon completing the course in 2004.
Following his studies, Milan joined Rolls-Royce in 2004 as a Woodshop Associate, where he gained invaluable experience working with luxury automotive interiors. His role involved precision craftsmanship in all aspects of wood finishing, including veneering and polishing, ensuring the highest quality standards expected in Rolls-Royce vehicles. This experience deepened his expertise in fine woodworking and luxury detailing.
In 2005, Milan took the leap into self-employment and established Well Wedged, a bespoke woodworking business dedicated to designing and crafting unique furniture pieces. Since then, he has worked with clients across the UK and the US, creating tailor-made furniture that combines functionality with artistry. His work spans a variety of styles and projects, from modern custom-built pieces to the restoration of antique furniture.
Beyond furniture making, Milan is skilled in various aspects of home woodworking, including kitchen renovations, bathroom cabinetry, and garden woodwork. His expertise extends to French polishing and antique furniture restoration, bringing aged pieces back to life with meticulous care and attention to detail.

When he’s not in the workshop, Milan enjoys spending his time outdoors, indulging in his passions for fishing, skiing, and traveling—experiences that often inspire his creative approach to woodworking.
